Judy Watson’s artist statement:

moving water
tracing time
the black holes in our education
unknown to me when I grew up here
we are told
get over our history
it’s water under the bridge
move on
leave the past behind
stones
dropping into water slowly
a punctuation
a breathing space
the river is scarified
it runs with the blood of memory
we are here
listening

Hear Judy discuss the work with Museum and Contemporary Art.
